i am Defensive midfielder-Central Midfielder and sometimes i play everything just it have to be in defend
Defenders who play in the middle of the defense are called Centre backs people who play on the wings of the defense are called right/left backs full backs or wing backs
@POTTLEDEE it depend on the attacker..he could be a left footer playing on the left side..so you’ll have to force him inside on his weaker foot..
@warier07 True. If this is the case, what I would do is keep him to the outside but force as close to the touchline as possible to make it harder for him to deliver an accurate cross.

ya if a goal gets scored its the defences fault… what about offence they shouldnt let the ball get bak there so easily i mean they give up on it and have us come UP and get it……… o well more soccer for me then

I’m my schools starting right fullback! It tool 3 years of hard work and training to get to be a starter for my school! I count even count the number of people I have pushed over!
Too many defenders give the player in front of them too much time on the ball. You dont want to run in like an idiot but you have to close them down quickly. Then when you go into your tackles they have to be hard… if you go in like a WUSSY your not going to come out with the ball. You have to be ruthless as a defender. Thats your ball! Go and get it!
